Yesterday we went to the junior high school and got a tour...we were supposed to introduce ourselves, but noone planned it, and the teacher didn't get permission to take us to classes. So after an hour we left...I went grocery shopping. It was pretty uch a waste of a day.
At night, however, a bunch of us went to a MASA mega event featuring Idan Raichel. It was amazing. We met a bunch of people from the Ashdod group and the Ramla group and all went on a bus there. There was an Israeli street fair, and various food stands. Also there was a stage with an accordion player, and right next to him was a barrel full of free oranges!
Today we went to the high school and also got a tour. This time though, we did get to go around and introduce ourselves. We met some pretty cool kids, and I'm really looking forwardto working with them.
